Industrial printing has been described as “print that does not have the primary purpose of carrying a promotional message”. It is using print technologies within the process of manufacturing that creates a product, or which enhances its appearance. New technologies continue to come to market, with inkjet textile printing bringing high-value, short-run textile printing closer to the end user and 3D printing enabling beneficial changes to short and long-run manufacturing thereby greatly improving business models and shortening of supply chains through distributed 3D printing on-demand.
Inovink’s involvement in this sector employs the core strengths of the company whereby we have researched and identified additive materials that greatly improve industrial printing by permitting greater speeds and efficiencies during manufacturing and the post-production process. Working alongside our development partners, we are in the early stages of product testing.
